Residential Heat: New Tank Installations

New Tank Installations

Interested in our services, but currently using a loaned tank from another propane provider? Tank switch-outs are completely free and very simple. This step-by-step process is how we make switching tanks as simple and painless as possible!

  1. Notify your current propane provider of your intent to switch, and an Eiseler Propane Representative will place a tag on your current tank to prevent further deliveries.

  2. Once your current tank reaches a capacity of 5% or less, we will remove it, reset the foundation blocks, and replace it with our tank. We will move your old tank to the end of your driveway so it can be picked up by your previous supplier. After your new tank is installed, we will replace the regulators with brand-new ones to ensure the safety of your propane system.

  3. Once the new tank and regulators are installed, we will perform a free leak check to ensure your system is free of leaks and safe to use. After the system passes its leak check, we will ensure that all of your propane appliances are in service and operating as they should.

After these steps, the switching process is complete, and you are ready for the rest of the heating season!

Other important information to note:

  • Our tanks are equipped with monitoring equipment that allows us to track the level of your propane from our office. This will prevent runouts throughout the year.

  • If your propane system does not pass its leak check, we will be unable to return it to service until the leak has been fixed. A licensed HVAC technician must repair any leaks that occur inside the house.

  • During the switch-out process, someone will need to provide access to the property and household so that we can return service to the household appliances. We will coordinate the timing of the switch-out with you to ensure that it works into your schedule.

  • If your current tank is located in your yard, we must be able to drive next to it. We have mats that we can drive on to prevent damage to your yard if the ground conditions are not ideal.
